The Parish Outreach Commission of St. Patrick Church shall engage in the endeavor of inspiring and initiating programs that address the practical and spiritual needs of the members of St. Patrick Church. The Commission endeavors to initiate and promote efforts in areas including, but not limited to, the following:
Survey special areas of need for activities and programs for young people, senior citizens, shut-ins, other groups.
Establish programs of visits to shut-ins, hospitals, the disabled, nursing homes, and prisoners.
Establish or promote the work of support groups to help widowed, separated, and divorced persons.
Arrange programs on family planning with the aid of Health Ministry and Diocesan Offices.
Promote the work of groups that provide help and support for the victims of terminal illness.
Provides comfort and assistance to families who have suffered the death of a loved one. Bereavement volunteers assist families with preparation for the funeral Mass. Contact the Pastoral Associate.
Strengthened by the Holy Spirit which leads this parish, the Parish Nurses, its Advisory Board, and its Lay Health Ministers commit themselves to the highest level of care for the mind, body, & spirit of each member of our community.
We draw our inspiration from the healing presence of Jesus Christ and we pursue this ministry of health by serving this community in various ways such as:
